tests and trumpets

I'm just hanging out with Harold (as in Harold B Lee Library) and decided that perhaps I could post again on my blog and express my feelings about life, or complain or maybe just discuss life. I'm a sophomore now and life is hard. Actually life isn't hard, classes are hard, no not classes, just tests. The times I spend in the testing center are probably the most complicated hours of my life. I have to use my backup brain when I go into that beautiful building. What an oxymoron, seriously. I think that the Grant Testing Center is one of the most elegant buildings on campus, it's one of the older buildings so it has a nice authentic look to it. I especially love the windows they are gorgeous. However I dread going into that building only because I know that every time I go into that building I'm going to come out with a different GPA, either higher or lower but usually it seems like lower. Ok ok so not every test I take is going to affect my overall GPA but sometime
This is a video I made for Maren's lesson in Relief Society. We weren't a fan of the Mormon Message video on eternal families so we made our own. It's quite similar though.

Happiest Cruise on Earth

15 people, 7 cabins, 5 days, 1 Disney Dream. This was the first time I have ever experienced acruise and hopefully it will not be the last. My family, plus my grandma and my aunt and uncle and cousin all were apart of this amazing adventure. The cruise went to Disney's private island Castaway Cay, then to Nassau in the Bahamas then back to Castaway Cay. It was probably the best week of my year. I loved being next to the ocean constantly it gave me such a peaceful happy feeling. Here are the highlights from the cruise: Color of the cruise: Yellow. Before the cruise I purchased 2 new pair of shoes, both yellow, and I wore both apair many times, with yellow shirts. I enjoyed looking like summer when the weather was so nice out. Word of the cruise: Multumesc. This means "thank you" in Romanian. Our waiter at dinner was from Romanian and taught it to me so I continued to use it all week whenever he brought me food. He would even anser in Romanian, it was lik

campus taken over

I was in the HFAC the other day studying for a final, and it just so happened that this day was the same day that the young musician music camp aka music major wanna be's . I decided that these kids are worse then efy kids. They walk around the HFAC like they own it. They practice in the practice rooms, run up and down the stairs and act like they're cool musicians. Ok so maybe they are talented kids, BUT they aren't cool enough to own the HFAC and I miss my quiet place in the HFAC to study. Speaking of efy kids, I am officially frightened by them. I went to sit on a bench outside of the WILK , however I chose to sit on this bench at the same time as efy lunch. Therefore I was surrounded by younglins . As I sat on my bench I began to feel outnumbered and left out. Everyone around me had a group of kids to sit with. I was all alone and older then most of them. I felt alone, so I left my bench and found refuge somewhere away from those kids.

STAR SKIER

Well it's a new year and a new Semester. Christmas break was magical as my family and I skied for a week on the beautiful powdery Utah snow. I survived the steep powdery mogul mountain of doom, the gully of sudden death, and I only crashed into three trees, losing my ski on one of them(but don't worry I found my ski again, after I dug for it in the powder). We even pretended to be Olympic skiers and went down the men's and women's downhill courses. It usually takes them about a minute to do the whole course and it took me about five minutes to descend the first hill. I think I'm on my way to be on the U.S ski team. I came home feeling victorious. Coming back from Christmas break I had to squeeze many more objects into my room. Mostly more clothes into my closet ( I hope my roommate doesn't realize that I am using more then half the closet), I also squeezed my new printer (named black ninja) underneath my desk, diminishing all chance of any leg room, so
