My flight experience

I arrived at the airport with and hour until my flight. I'm barely worried, I know that I can make it through baggage check and security with no problem. However the girl behind did not have that same confidence. She constantly expressed her worries to the guy in front of her, I couldn't help but over hear everything she said. The guy was nice to her but I could tell he didn't care too much. He kept reassuring her that she would be fine besides his flight left ten minutes before hers and he didn't show any sign of anxiety.  Finally we all got up the counter and as I checked my bag in I saw the guy run pass me with his two bags to get to the security  line. And I mean he was really running. ( so much for not being worried about missing his flight)  So he waited in that whole line just to get his boarding pass....I don't think that he even checked in any bags. Wow that was a total waste of 20 min of his life. Has he ever heard of the internet and early bird check-in?  As I made it up to the x-ray machines I noticed that worried girl was behind me once again, and she acted like the world was going to explode. She was quickly putting everything in bins and taking her shoes off for security. (As a side note did you know that people over the age of 75 and small children don't have to take their shoes off at security....kids are so spoiled these days). There was still a good twenty minutes before her flight, and it's like she thought that at that time the flight attendants seal the door of the plane. She was freaking out so much I had to double check the time to make sure I wasn't going to be late. Well  I never knew what happened to her after we went through security together so hopefully she made it to her flight. That would be really embarrassing if she missed it.   I of course made it to my flight on time, and because I'm traveling by myself on Southwest there was an empty middle seat at the front of the plane which I snatched without hesitation.  I had a layover in Phoenix and I believe that the Phoenix airport has the air conditioning on way to high. I felt like I was going to freeze at the airport.
