STAR SKIER

Well it's a new year and a new Semester. Christmas break was magical as my family and I skied for a week on the beautiful powdery Utah snow. I survived the steep powdery mogul mountain of doom,the gully of sudden death, and I only crashed into three trees, losing my ski on one of them(but don't worry I found my ski again, after I dug for it in the powder). We even pretended to be Olympic skiers and went down the men's and women's downhill courses. It usually takes them about a minute to do the whole course and it took me about five minutes to descend the first hill. I think I'm on my way to be on the U.S ski team. I came home feeling victorious. Coming back from Christmas break I had to squeeze many more objects into my room. Mostly more clothes into my closet ( I hope my roommate doesn't realize that I am using more then half the closet), I also squeezed my new printer (named black ninja) underneath my desk, diminishing all chance of any leg room, so ...

Deep in Muir Woods

Last weekend was my birthday and also National Public Lands Day, which translates to free day at National Parks. Well, I jumped at this opportunity to explore Muir Woods because usually, it is $10 a person for a day pass and Brennan and I are frugal people (sometimes). I planned the day out very well because there were many things I wanted to see in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area after we were done exploring Muir Woods. The evening before we left I made a power point Presentation and presented it to Brennan so he would have a clear picture of everything we were going to do. He's a business major and sometimes you just have to speak his language, through excel sheets and power points.  It took a lot of planning because we had to get parking reservations and work out all the timings right. My flight experience

I arrived at the airport with and hour until my flight. I'm barely worried, I know that I can make it through baggage check and security with no problem. However the girl behind did not have that same confidence. She constantly expressed her worries to the guy in front of her, I couldn't help but over hear everything she said. The guy was nice to her but I could tell he didn't care too much. He kept reassuring her that she would be fine besides his flight left ten minutes before hers and he didn't show any sign of anxiety.  Finally we all got up the counter and as I checked my bag in I saw the guy run pass me with his two bags to get to the security  line. And I mean he was really running. ( so much for not being worried about missing his flight)  So he waited in that whole line just to get his boarding pass....I don't think that he even checked in any bags.
